    Morning Schedule

    Students riding in automobiles will unload in front of the school in the designated area. Please, remain in your vehicle and drive up to the area designated for loading and unloading. In the morning we will have school personnel to help safely unload students in kindergarten and first grade. Second through fourth grade students are expected to exit the vehicle, close the car door independently, and walk down the sidewalk into the school. If you need to enter the school between 7:00—7:25, for everyone’s safety, please unload your child through the car rider line, then park and join him/her at the office.

    You may drop your child off as early as 7:00. ALL children eating breakfast must be at school before 7:10. Kindergarten needs to go straight to class, 1st through 4th grades need to go to the cafeteria for breakfast. All other children need to be IN THEIR CLASSROOM BY 7:25 or they will be marked “TARDY”. Classwork begins at 7:25. If your child is not in the classroom to do early morning work, they will receive a zero.

    Parents may walk their children to class from August 5—8. AFTER AUGUST 8, PLEASE REFRAIN FROM PARKING AND WALKING YOUR CHILDREN TO THE DOOR IN THE MORNING OR STANDING AT THE DOOR IN THE AFTERNOON TO PICK THEM UP. This helps us to safely and expediently move 700 students through the hallways to load and unload our buses and cars. Do not park and walk up to pick your child up in the afternoon. Please remain in the car rider line.

    Afternoon Schedule

    We will start loading car riders at 2:45. All car riders should be picked up by 3:10. For safety reasons you may not line up in front of school before 2:15, per the Fire Marshall’s recommendation.

    Anyone who picks up your child needs to have a sign in the front window with the student’s name on it and also be on the checkout list in the office. Please, do not leave your car on the curb unattended as this may hold up the car rider line. If you are asked to pull up to the orange line to wait for a student, turn on your right turn signal to let drivers behind you know you are stopping.

    Please, refrain from bringing pets in the car if at all possible.
