Hi! My name is Mrs. Jamie Anthony, and I am one of the EL (English Learners) teachers for Lee County Schools. I currently serve Beauregard Elementary, Sanford Middle, and Beauregard High. The 2024-2025 year is my 11th year of teaching. I graduated from the University of West Georgia in 2010 with my bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. In 2016, I graduated from Auburn University with my masters degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Others Languages (TESOL). In May 2025, I will graduate with my Ed. S. in TESOL from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). This is my 7th year teaching EL (K-12) and my 9th year in Lee County.

EVERY student matters, and I will always be each and every one of my students' biggest advocates so they can receive the education they deserve.

I live in Opelika with my husband of 14 years, Chris. We have two kids, Graham and Sloane. Graham is in 4th grade, and Sloane is in 1st grade. We love football season, being around family and friends, camping, and making each other laugh. It's always an adventure in our household and NEVER quiet.
