My name is Candy Crance, and I am proud to serve as the library media specialist at Beauregard Elementary School.  My passion for working with students of all ages is what led me to my career choice.  I graduated with a B.S. degree in elementary education from The University of South Alabama.  Later, I attained a master’s degree from Auburn University in Library Media.  My teaching experiences include kindergarten, reading intervention, and serving for the last four years as library media specialist for grades K-6th. 

I am excited about joining the Beauregard family.  I am looking forward to meeting all the wonderful students as they come and go from the library. I love to watch students develop a passion for reading!  In addition, I love to create engaging library lessons for students in order to promote lifelong learning.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, serving at the Church of the Highlands, and anything outdoors!
