I am starting my 5th year teaching at Beauregard Elementary School. I taught 3rd grade for one year and this will be my fourth year in kindergarten. I can't wait to meet all of my new students and I am looking forward to a fabulous year!

I was born in Bitburg, Germany and lived in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Montgomery, Alabama before moving to Opelika in 1993.  I have been married to my husband Chuck for 7 years, and we have 5 children: Ashton - 27, Britny - 27, Kane - 26, Baylee - 25, and Ginny who is almost 17.  We also have 2 German shepherds - JD and Kaira. My second grandbaby was born recently, and Ginny will be a senior this year at Beauregard High School. We live in the Beauregard Community and have spent many years moving between the baseball and football fields watching our children participate in sports. I graduated from Troy University in June 2018 with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education and a masters' degree in curriculum and instruction from Faulkner University in the fall of 2019.  I love potato chips, my favorite color depends on my mood, and I love to spend time at the lake, the beach, and the pool.
