Bio:
As the Assistant Principal at Beauregard Elementary School, I proudly serve as the liaison connecting our school community with military families, ensuring their children receive the best possible educational experience. Having connections in both the military and educational worlds, I understand the unique challenges and transitions military families face, such as frequent relocations, extended absences, and the emotional impact of military life on students. I have family members who have served and continue to serve, as well as friends who have served and are still serving--and this is why I am passionate about ensuring that our military families are supported in any way possible.
I bring a compassionate, empathetic approach to my role, focusing on fostering an inclusive and supportive environment that addresses the specific needs of military-connected students. Whether it's coordinating school resources for smooth transitions, offering emotional support for students coping with a parent's deployment, or helping parents navigate the school's policies and programs, I am dedicated to ensuring that military families feel seen, supported, and connected to our school community.
In my role, I continuously advocate for military families, ensuring their voices are heard, and that their children have access to all the tools they need to succeed. I am honored to serve as a dedicated advocate for our military-connected students and families, helping them build strong, positive connections with the school while navigating the challenges that come with military life.
