Hello and GO IRISH, my name is Robert Miller and this is my seventh year teaching. All of them have been here at West Smiths Station and in 5th grade. Being a teacher is my second career.  I retired from the Army in 2014 after 23 years of service. I graduated from Troy in 2016 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I worked as a paraprofessional at WSSES in 2017-2018 and started teaching the following year. I live in Phenix City with my wife Jennifer, 1 bearded dragon(also our classroom pet), 2 dogs, 2 chickens and 3 cats. I have two daughters. The oldest is a graduate of Auburn University, and my youngest is a graduate of Southern Union State Community College. I love spending time with my grandson Miles, my first grandchild, taking naps, working in my yard, watching nature and seeing how everything works together for the glory of God.  I look forward to an awesome year with your children teaching science and social studies.
