Hello and welcome to my page! I have been teaching for the past 17 years. I have taught 4th grade, 3rd grade, and 1st grade. I received my bachelor's degree from Troy University and my master's in Reading from Auburn University. This is my second year serving as the Reading Coach here at West Smiths Station. I am so excited to work with these amazing teachers and get to meet all the wonderful children. Speaking of children, I have a loving 13-year-old son named Jax, who is in 8th grade this year at Smiths Station Junior High. I also have a sassy little 8-year-old princess named Adeline who is in 3rd grade here at West. I am married to my amazing husband Cam, and we have 3 dogs, Allie,Penny and Sam. We also have a cat named Leo. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cheering on my son Jax in football, and I love to laugh and have fun.
