My name is Emma McCaghren (sounds like McCathren). This is my 8th year teaching ELA. I am from Columbia, South Carolina and graduated from the University of South Carolina (go gamecocks!) with a middle level teaching degree in English and social studies. I moved to Auburn four years ago and just graduated from Auburn with my Masters in English Education. My husband, David, and I have a Blue Heeler dog named Miller and we love to spend our free time cheering on the Auburn Tigers! 

I am SO excited to join the WSSES family and I am honored to teach in such a strong community.
