Welcome!

My name is Christie Smith. This is my 10th year teaching 1st grade at West Smiths Station Elementary School.  I have a bachelor's degree in Human Services and a master’s degree in Elementary Education from Troy University. My husband, Jimbo, and I have 6 children together: (Kaylee (24), Joah (20), Jaymee (16), Landry Kay (4), Lincoln (2), and Leighton (2)--they are twins! We have 2 grandchildren: Braelynn (1) and Brewer (6 months). We enjoy spending time together as a family and with friends.
