Hello! I am happy to be a part of Lee County Schools and The Sanford Middle School team teaching 7th and 8th grade science. My family and I moved to Auburn from Birmingham in 2015 and this is my 6th year teaching a range of subjects from Physical Science, Biology, Marine Biology, and Anatomy. I received my Bacherlor's in Biology from University of Central Florida and my Master's in Education from University of Montevallo.

From a young age discovering and learning more about the natural world and everything within has been a fascinating and continual journey that has yet to grow old (unlike me).  It is my hope to share that journey along with my students and help them see how they can apply science to many other areas of their own lives now and long into the future.  My wife and I have six children ages 14 to 2.  In our spare time we enjoy baseball, exploring the mountains, camping, hiking, watersports, offshore fishing, and exploring nature on the coasts in our boat.
