Hi! I am Mr. Alex Rochowski, and I will be teaching 7th and 8th Grade Social Studies here at Sanford Middle School. I was born and raised in Stockbridge, Georgia, and I attended Union Grove High School in neighboring McDonough.  After high school, I began attending Auburn University and graduated in December of 2021 with a B.S. in Social Science Education. Back home, I played soccer for nine years in the Henry County Soccer Association, mainly as a goalkeeper. I look forward to bringing this experience with me as Sanford's new soccer coach! I also developed a love for music in Middle and High school as a percussionist. I participated in both schools' concert bands as well as my high school marching band, and I continued this trend through college. I spent three years in the Auburn University Marching, and I have also participated with Atlanta Quest Indoor Drumline and Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps. As such, I will be assisting with the Sanford band program and the Beauregard High School Marching band as the percussion instructor. Currently, I reside in Opelika where I live with my girlfriend Sarah and our cat Cash. We love it here, and we look forward to serving the Beauregard community. Go Hornets!
