Alabama Student Loan Program - KHEAA
The Alabama College Loan Program provides low-cost Federal Stafford, Parent PLUS, Graduate PLUS and Consolidation Loans to help Alabama college students and their parents pay educational expenses. Not only do we offer great benefits to all borrowers, but we offer interest-forgiveness for Alabama's teachers, nurses and National Guard members (current interest rates are 6.8% for Stafford Loans and 8.5% for PLUS Loans). When asking for a student loan at your college or university ask for the Alabama College Loan Program -- lender code 834281. Seniors, you need to make sure that you have completed your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).
