The Alabama College Loan Program provides low-cost Federal Stafford, Parent PLUS, Graduate PLUS and Consolidation Loans to help Alabama college students and their parents pay educational expenses. Not only do we offer great benefits to all borrowers, but we offer interest-forgiveness for Alabama's teachers, nurses and National Guard members (current interest rates are 6.8% for Stafford Loans and 8.5% for PLUS Loans). Alabama Works is a website designed to assist employers, job seekers, and students. From a studuent perspective, the site focuses upon career preparedness with an emphasis on career planning and job training.
