Greetings! I am Angelia Thomas, your student’s teacher. I am so excited to be at South Smith’s Station Elementary. I am the spouse of a retired army vet. We have been married for 31 years. We have three adult children and one adopted child, by way of therapeutic foster care. We served as Therapeutic Foster Parents to at risk kids from 2004 to 2023. 

    I was born and raised in the beautiful sunshine state of Florida…GO GATORS! My favorite colors are Blue, Orange, and Green. I absolutely love teaching. I earned my bachelor’s degree in special education at Columbus State University. I am currently seeking a master’s degree in special education/Applied Behavioral Analysis. 

Fun Fact:  Although I was born and raised in Tampa, Florida, the Dallas Cowboys are my all-time favorite pro-football team!
