• Visual Art Class Fee: $20 (Cash or check made out to Beauregard High School or using PayPams)

    Most supplies will be provided, but you may purchase your own if you like. 

    These are some of the supplies used in Visual Arts class:  

    Watercolor paint set, at least 8 colors

    Watercolor/acrylic brushes, a variety

    Acrylic paint set, in tubes or bottles, at least red, yellow, and blue

    White and black acrylic paint, in tubes or bottles 4-8 ounces

    At least 2 palette knives, one flat and one bent

    Box for storing supplies (plastic shoebox or tackle box)

    Smooth tray, plate, or pizza pan for clay work, Dollar Tree has them

    6 8x10 or larger canvas boards or stretched canvases

    Clay and clay tools

    Pencils, colored pencils, markers, soft and oil pastels, charcoal, erasers, blenders, paper, hand held pencil sharpeners, construction paper, glue, Modge Podge

    These supplies will not be provided in class, but you may want them:

    Handheld silicone mat brush cleaner (Five Below or in the cosmetic aisle at various stores)

    Wash rag, if you use one for your brushes

    Gloves for clay, charcoal, pastels or pour paint (no gloves are provided in class)

    Plastic baggies, plastic wrap, Q-tips, sponges, a makeup brush for blending charcoal and pastels, hairspray for setting charcoal and pastels, Clorox wipes.

    2nd and 3rd-year art students may need additional supplies based on their assignments
